This is frigin exciting! Best news I have been hearing this year for sure!

Many of you know my LOVE 4 PHISH. One hell of an amazing band.

I was fortunate enough to see them 7 times - 5 in Las Vegas and 2 @ The Gorge. 7 life changing shows i might add.

Well a few weeks back I saw a post on Twitter from Phish. (who knows if its one of the real people behind the band or some Phan)

First they linked an article where Trey was quoted saying

“When Phish broke up, I made some comment about how I’m not gonna go around playing ‘You Enjoy Myself’ for the rest of my life,” Anastasio said with a laugh. “And it’s so funny because Fish and Mike and Page have been talking to each other a lot lately and now — it’s not that I can’t believe that I said that, but its symbolic of how much I lost my mind or how much I lost my bearings or something. Because at this point in time I would give my left nut to play that song five times in a row every day until I die.”

That got my Phish Bone groovin. I sent emails to all my Phish Crew. When I saw Phish it was always with a close group of friends who all traveled together to share the experience that was a Phish Show. Some of the friends in the group have upwards of 45 Phish shows under their belts.

Today I got an email from one of the Elite members of our Phish clan. Its an interview with Tom Marshall. Check it out

“I think Phish is his baby,” said Marshall, speaking backstage after Dave Matthews Band’s Tuesday concert at Camden’s Susquehanna Bank Center. “It’s not like there are people preventing it from coming back, it’s just that the landscape has to be right for it to come back.”

“I’ve always been hopeful in expecting a Phish,” continued Marshall. “I think if the stars align and everything works out there will be. I don’t think they will ever be a huge touring band.”

“We’re on our fourteenth, fifteenth song in like two months,” said Marshall. “We’re extremely productive and got the drive again. I have the old Trey back, which is incredible.”

How exciting!

The possibility that one of the most influential bands of my life getting back together. WOOT!

Great news. I hope it all comes together. I’ll post more as I hear it.
