Beautiful Day for a ride.TTFNÂ Â Â
I was sent this in an email from a co-worker.
For all who know Motorcycle Riders:
Check it out.
As I told a few of you. This fence looks amazing when it gets wet.
Here are a couple pictures to show it off. Compare them to the pix a few post down when they are dry.
See how the there are spots that become a darker color and other still stay light. the contrast is great, and these pix don’t do it justice.
If the weather holds for the weekend I believe I should be able to finish the majority of the fence, which is mainly the inside trim and the top rail.
TTFN!
So we did some debt consolidation this year and ended up with extra so we could take care of some much needed work on the house. First being the fence.
We spent a few weeks researching fences. We were set on getting a new Vinyl fence put up. We had 6 fence contractors come out and give us quotes. Each one was different and tried to sell their type of vinyl to you, and were quick to bash the competition. I didn’t care for that part of the process. Then when it came down too it, the price was a bit over what I wanted to pay.
So we looked into some other options. Refurbishing the fence we already have with new wood and lattice. I didn’t like the idea of putting lattice up there again as thats what was mainly deteriorating the most. Stacy stumbles upon a website while she was looking at alternatives. She found a place called Cali Bamboo. They make all sorts of Bamboo products, fencing being one of them. So I dug in and did some more research into bamboo fencing. There are a lot of places out there that sell some real chincy bamboo, but the stuff from Cali Bamboo looked good. So I gave them a call. Great service from Jeff, he was cool to work with and gave me the skinny.
